For all of us loving to shop at TJMaxx, we are rejoiced to see so many high end brands here, especially online! TJMaxx has a section called The Runway full of brand names at great prices! I am slowly increasing my knowledge of high end brands by checking TJMaxx website on almost daily basis (oops, I'm a little addicted). When writing this blog articles, I have learned two interesting things about the luxury brands carried at TJMaxx. First, the majority of high end brands at TJMaxx are based in NYC. Second, many brands are fairly new!

PS: You cannot search brand by the name (at least most of them). Instead, when you go to the runway section you can click on Reveal Designer tab under each item to see the designer.

  • 10 Crosby - by Derek Lam 10 Crosby In June 2011, Lam presented a new advanced contemporary line Derek Lam 10 Crosby. Derek Lam 10 Crosby is a collection of modern silhouettes and touches of feminine appeal, while also embracing the relaxed sensibility of a contemporary lifestyle.

  • 360 Cashmere - Contemporary knitwear brand launched in 2009.

  • Alanui - an Italian brand based on the highest quality pieces. "I believe our craftsmanship and quality above all. It takes at least 14 hours to produce one single ALANUI piece, our attention to details is key; from the fabrics and yarn selections, to labels and the final packaging. We supervise all activities and we are sure our customers really notice and appreciate this."

  • ALC - Los Angeles-based women's ready-to-wear fashion brand, founded in 2009 by Andrea Lieberman.

  • Alexander McQueen - British luxury fashion house founded by designer Alexander McQueen in 1992.

  • Alice + Olivia - NYC-based contemporary clothing company launched in 2002.

  • Aquatalia - Established in 1994, Aquatalia offers the finest combination of fashion, quality and comfort in luxury footwear and is the first to mix distinctive Italian design with innovative weatherproof and stain-resistant technology.

  • Armani Exchange - A|X Armani Exchange is the youthful label created in 1991 by Giorgio Armani to capture the heritage of the Armani brand through the lens of its young fashion-forward urban spirit.

  • ATM - designer Anthony Thomas Melillo debuted his most personal and passionate endeavor in 2012.

  • Ba&Sh - Best friends Barbara Boccara and Sharon Krief established the brand fifteen years ago with no formal training. The name derives from the first letters of their first names. The Ba&Sh style remains distinctly Parisian, uniting an expression of freedom with an easy, joyful elegance.

  • Balenciaga - is a luxury fashion house founded in 1917 by Spanish designer Cristóbal Balenciaga in San Sebastián, Spain and currently based in Paris.

  • Balmain - is a French luxury fashion house that was founded by Pierre Balmain in 1945.

  • Burberry - is a British luxuryfashion house headquartered in London, England.

  • Celine - is a French ready-to-wear and leatherluxury goods brand that has been owned by LVMH group since 1996.

  • Chloe - is a French luxury fashion house founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion

  • Chopard (sunglasses) - is a Swiss manufacturer and retailer of luxury watches, jewellery and accessories.

  • Christian Louboutin- famous for it's bright red shoe soles, it has been an iconic brand for women.

  • Cinq A Sept - newly established, this brand is carried in the most luxurious stores. The name literally translates to “five to seven,” a French phrase used to reference the mood, light, and atmosphere between those hours of the day.)

  • Cosabella - Italian for "beautiful thing", Cosabella was founded by husband and wife duo Valeria and Ugo Campello. Proud to still be made in Italy with the same passion and creativity as when established in 1983.

  • Creed - is a multi-national niche perfume house. Based in Paris, it was originally established and founded in England as a tailoring house in 1760 by James Henry Creed. Creed uses high-quality materials, quantified and hand-mixed, and then performs a unique infusion method.

  • Diane Von Furstenberg - Von Furstenberg left the fashion industry in 1985 to start a publishing house in Paris but came back in 1997. Her brand now encompasses handbags, shoes, jewelry and accessories and is sold in over 55 countries with 148 DVF stores.

  • Dolce And Gabbana - is an Italian luxury fashion house founded in 1985 in Legnano by Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.

  • Eileen Fisher - In 1984, I started EILEEN FISHER for a very personal reason: I was having trouble getting dressed. At the time I was working as an interior and graphic designer. In my mind I kept seeing these simple shapes for clothes. I knew they had to be beautiful colors, great fabrics and have certain shapes and proportions. This was my “aha” moment: a system of shapes that worked together and made getting dressed easy. Although I couldn't sew and only had $350 in the bank, I designed four shapes and took them to The Boutique Show in New York. That’s how my business began—with 3,000 in orders.   • Elie Tahari - Elie Tahari is an Israeli fashion designer. He is the designer of ready-to-wear clothing and fashion accessories. His company is headquartered in New York City, with stores located throughout the world.

  • Emilio Pucci - Emilio Pucci, Marchese di Barsento was an Italian fashion designer and politician. He and his eponymous company are synonymous with geometric prints in a kaleidoscope of colors.

  • Escada - is a luxury women's designer clothing company headquartered in Munich, Germany.

  • Etro - is a fashion house that has defined Italian style around the world since 1968.

  • Fendi - is an Italian luxury fashion house producing fur, ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes, fragrances, eyewear, timepieces and accessories. Founded in Rome in 1925, Fendi is known for its fur and fur accessories, and for its leather goods.

  • Ferragamo - is an Italian luxury goods company, with headquarters in Florence, Italy. It specializes in shoes, leather goods, Swiss-made timepieces, and ready-to-wear for men and women.

  • Frame - FRAME is an American fashion brand founded in 2012 renowned for its collections in denim, cotton, leather and cashmere.

  • Givenchy - is a French luxury fashion and perfume house.

  • Gucci (clothes, accessories, shoes, bags, jewelry) - is a luxuryfashion house based in Florence, Italy.

  • Helmut Lang -was created by Austrian fashion designer Helmut Lang in 1986.

  • Herno - Founded in 1948 Italian sportswear brand Herno has gone from a heritage brand to the forefront of technology.

  • Herve Leger - is a French fashion house founded by the designer Hervé Peugnet in 1985.

  • Hugo Boss - is a German luxury fashion house headquartered in Metzingen, Baden-Württemberg.

  • J Brand - is an American denim clothing company founded in 2005 in Los Angeles, California.

  • Jason Wu - is a Taiwanese-Canadian artist and fashion designer based in New York City. Born in Taiwan and raised in Vancouver, he studied fashion design at Parsons School of Design, and trained under Narciso Rodriguez before launching his own line. He is best known for designing the dresses of Michelle Obama on several occasions, including those worn during the first and second inauguration of American President Barack Obama.

  • Jimmy Choo - is a Britishhigh fashion house specialising in luxury shoes, handbags, accessories and fragrances. The company, J. Choo Limited,was founded in 1996 by Malaysian Chinese couture shoe designer Jimmy Choo and British Vogue accessories editor Tamara Mellon.

  • Johnny Was - Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, Johnny Was, LLC (“Johnny Was”) designs, markets and sells “boho chic,” “vintage-inspired” women’s apparel and accessories in the U.S. and internationally through wholesale, retail, and ecommerce channels. The Company was founded in 1987 by Eli Levite, an entrepreneur and design visionary, and has become a premiere brand in the women’s “affordable luxury” apparel category.

  • Karl Lagerfeld Paris -Amidst his many pursuits, Lagerfeld was the creative director of his own namesake fashion house, which combines Parisian-inspired styles with an effortless, rock-chic ease. Its wide breadth of covetable lifestyle collections includes — amongst others — women’s and men’s ready-to-wear and accessories.

  • Kobi Halperin- Born and raised in Israel, Kobi studied and received his B.F.A from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design. Upon graduating, Kobi moved to New York where he became the Executive Creative Director at Elie Tahari for 13 years and the Executive Creative Director at Kenneth Cole Productions for 3 years. In 2015, Kobi launched his eponymous ready-to-wear label. The label embodies a European sensibility and is recognized by its crafted artisan details and modern femininity.

  • Lafayette 148 New York - Named after the address in SoHo where it was founded, this is a global lifestyle brand led by women, for women.

  • Longchamp - is a luxurious Paris brand, created in 1948 and is currently in the hands of the third generation of Cassegrain: his eldest son, Jean is the CEO, his daughter, Sophie Delafontaine, the creative director, and his younger son, Olivier, leads the brand’s development of American boutiques.

  • Loro Piana - is an Italian fabrics and clothing company specialising in high-end, luxury cashmere and wool products.

  • Love Moschino- is an Italian luxury fashion house, specialising in leather accessories, shoes, luggage and fragrances. It was founded in 1983 by Franco Moschino in Milan.

  • Love Shack Fancy - is a New York City-based lifestyle brand founded in 2013 by stylist, designer and creative director Rebecca Hessel Cohen.

  • Magaschoni - Magaschoni is a leading American cashmere and designer luxury brand.

  • Maje - Maje, the name chosen by its founder, Judith Milgrom, is a combination of the initials of the first names of her loved ones. In 1998, Judith decided to create clothing for active women. At the time, no products were offered that fell between luxury and the mass market. The company achieved rapid success and Judith decided to open her first shop on rue du Four in Paris. Eight years later, Maje has more than 150 shops in France and abroad.

  • Mara Hoffman - Mara Hoffman founded her label in 2000 after graduating from Parsons School of Design in New York City.

  • Marc Jacobs - Marc Jacobs created Marc Jacobs International with Robert Duffy in 1984, basing the brand on two very simple concepts: a love of fashion and a commitment to quality.

  • Marchesa Notte- Marchesa is an American brand specializing in women's wear based in New York City. It was established in 2004 by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig. Marchesa is known for designing dresses for celebrities.

  • Mikael Aghal - A NYC luxury brand established in 2008.

  • Milly - Milly is an American fashion company. Specializing in women’s clothing, it was founded by fashion designer Michelle Smith and Andrew Oshrin.

  • Naadam - NAADAM was founded in 2013 by Matthew Scanlan and Diederik Rijsemus. The college friends traveled to remote parts of the Mongolian Gobi Desert, became friends with the local herders and saw first-hand how traditional cashmere traders and brokers drive up prices and take the profits. By cutting out these middlemen, Matt and Diederik realized they could pay their herder friends more while selling premium-quality clothes for less.

  • Ramy Brook - Founded in 2010 and based in New York City, Ramy Brook is a contemporary womenswear brand designed for a woman by a woman.

  • Rebecca Taylor - is a New Zealand-born fashion designer based in New York City, United States.

  • Roberto Cavalli - is an Italian fashion designer and inventor. He is known for exotic prints and for creating the sand-blasted look for jeans.

  • Roger Vivier - Born in 1907, Roger Vivier, known as the Fabergé of footwear, created shoes that looked like works of art. In 1924, he began his sculpture studies at the Paris School of Fine Arts, which he abandoned two years later to learn the art of shoemaking and start an apprenticeship. Fascinated by the world of theatre and music halls, Vivier designed some stage decors. Backstage, he met Josephine Baker and Mistinguett, for whom he created custom-made shoes.

  • Ronny Kobo - is best known for her namesake collection of fashion-forward designs that are celebrated for their exotic prints and flattering shapes. Originally from Tel Aviv, Ronny’s international upbringing exposed her to universal fashion influences at a young age.

  • Saint Laurent (YSL) is a French luxury fashion house founded by Yves Saint Laurent and his partner, Pierre Bergé

  • Sandro - Sandro’s DNA is intimately related to Paris. Through its collections, the Brand expresses the essence of cool and chic Parisian spirit, the French effortless elegance, with a unique twist.

  • Sergio Rossi - is an Italian women's footwear company that also produces handbags and other accessories.

  • Shoshanna - Shoshanna Gruss is the founder and creative director of Shoshanna, her eponymous collection which debuted in stores in November 1998. Gruss revolutionized dress departments nationwide with the launch of her first collection. Her dedication to fitting and flattering the female body while indulging in whimsical details were a refreshing change from the contemporary offerings of the moment

  • St. John - is a luxury American fashion brand that specializes in women's knitwear founded in 1962 by Robert and Marie Gray (former model). The company is best known for its classic wool and rayon yarn knits, Chanel inspired jackets, and extensive use of primary colors.

  • Stella Maccartney - Born and raised in London and the English countryside, Stella McCartney graduated from Central St Martins in 1995. A signature style of sharp tailoring, natural confidence and sexy femininity was immediately apparent in her first collection and after only two collections, in 1997, she was appointed the Creative Director of Chloe in Paris and enjoyed great success during her tenure.   • The Kooples - is a French fashion retailer.The company was founded by brothers Alexandre, Laurent and Raphaël Elicha.

  • Theory - is a New York-based men's and women's contemporary fashion label which sells clothes and accessories.

  • Trina Turk - Founded in 1995 by Turk and her husband, photographer Jonathan Skow, as a women’s contemporary clothing line, TRINA TURK has evolved into an iconic lifestyle brand, celebrating California style with 11 annual collections of chic women’s ready-to-wear and accessories, plus swimwear, recreation/activewear, footwear, handbags, jewelry, a Mr Turk menswear line, and residential décor and textiles.

  • Zadig & Voltaire - is a French ready-to-wear clothing brand, which opened its first store in Paris in 1997. The company’s owner, Thierry Gillier, is a Parisian native and is the great-grandson of Andre Gillier, one of the founders of the sportswear company Lacoste.
